Whether the differences that have been highlighted will be considered significant enough to reject human cloning depends on whether society can eventually come to terms with asexual reproduction. But even if it is not accepted as a form of human procreation, human cloning may become valuable in other ways, such as for the replacement of a child who dies tragically. However, there will be other ethical problems for these other uses of cloning that I shall not discuss here.
